Police Blotter! People the Joliet Police Put in Jail

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet police arrested these people. After they were arrested, they were booked into the Will County jail on Saturday.

• Sebastian Gates, 18, of Joliet was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and defacing the identification marks on a firearm, and on a warrant charging him with retail theft.

• Dwayne Jones, 26, of Joliet was arrested on a warrant from the Department of Corrections.

• Ivan Landery, 34, of Joliet was arrested on delivery of heroin charges.

• Shaun Matheny, 34, of Joliet was arrested on a charge of violating an order of protection.

• Brian Jon McCarthy, 60, of Oak Lawn was arrested on a charge of the aggravated battery of a nurse.
