'Rough Sexual Intercourse' At Star Inn Leads To 3 Charges: Prosecutors
Jackson got upset because he did not like the person who was calling her, so he slapped her across the face three times, prosecutors noted.

JOLIET — A 56-year-old man who lived at the Joliet Star Inn on West Jefferson Street is now being kept in the Will County Jail indefinitely after Will County Judge Tom Slazyk ruled that Tamolus Jackson meets the dangerous standard under the SAFE-T-Act.
Joliet police arrested Jackson on Saturday night on charges of aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and unlawful violation of an order of protection.
According to the prosecution's successful petition to deny pretrial release, Joliet police were called to Room 142 at the Star Inn for a domestic in progress at 8:08 p.m. The victim notified the officers she had an active protection order against Jackson from last year in Kankakee County.

She explained how she and Jackson were having rough sexual intercourse at the Star Inn, "which is normal behavior for the couple," prosecutors outlined. She was on top of Jackson slapping his chest when her phone rang; Jackson then grew upset because he did not like the person who was calling her, so he slapped her across the face three separate times, court records show.
The woman climbed off Jackson and told him to stop, yelling that Jackson was being too rough with her, prosecutors stated. A physical fight began, and the woman let Jackson know she was now going to call the police on him. That's when Jackson threatened to kill the woman; as she tried to call the Joliet police, Jackson took her phone and threw the phone against the hotel room wall, court records show.

Joliet police found the phone had a cracked screen that could no longer be used because of the damage.
Eventually, Jackson's rage intensified, and he pushed her against one of the walls at the Star Inn and put both of his hands around her neck to choke her to the point she could not breathe, court records indicate.
The victim had scratches to her left cheek, scratches to her neck and bruises on her chest. The victim told the police that Jackson physically abused her on two prior occasions.
According to Jackson's statement, he told Joliet police that while having sex, she began to play-slap him and he did not like that, and he admitted to slapping her across the face.
When she fought back, Jackson admitted to holding her down by her neck on the bed until she fell off the bed, court records note.
