JOLIET — Another Joliet business, this time the Mexican bakery known as Tamaleria Sanchez, had its front entrance destroyed on Friday night as a three-vehicle crash with serious injuries happened at the busy cross streets of Ruby and Broadway.

The damaged building on Ruby Street where the horrific wreck happened is owned by one of Joliet's better known commercial real estate investors, Mike Petry.

Petry notified Joliet Patch that building restoration crews worked all night to board up the damaged storefront and clean up the shattered windows; the good news is that the Mexican bakery was able to open for business on Saturday, the building owner said.
