Stabber Fails To Follow Through On Threat Of Mass Stabbing: Cops
The stabber threatened to "stab everyone" in the home but just ended up stabbing the one guy, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A threat to “stab everyone” in a South Ottawa Street home ended up being greatly exaggerated, as the stabber ended up stabbing only one guy, and it was just in his hand and wasn’t even all that bad, police said.
The stabber, 50-year-old Christopher Sanders, went to the residence on South Ottawa about 1:30 a.m. Thursday and started arguing with a 47-year-old man, police said.
Sanders went back out to his van and returned with what witnesses described as a “large hunting-type knife,” police said, then threatened to “stab everyone there.”

The 47-year-old apparently decided that would be a good time to go, police said, but Sanders followed him out, rushed at him and stabbed him in the hand.
Police said the wound was a “very minor injury,” and that the man refused medical attention.

Sanders’ van — and Sanders — were reportedly tracked down near Harrah’s Casino a short time later. Officers found a folding knife in the van, police said.
Sanders was taken to the Will County jail.
