JOLIET — Every so often, there's trouble brewing inside the Harrah's Casino in downtown Joliet. And for the first time this month, Joliet police were notified of trouble at Harrah's and that resulted in the arrest of 57-year-old Bolingbrook gambler Juan Hernandez Velazquez.
The Joliet police noted that Velazquez has been given his notice to appear in show on charges of criminal trespass and resisting a peace officer.
At 11:46 p.m. on Tuesday, the officers responded to Harrah’s Casino at 151 North Joliet Street for a report of a patron refusing to leave. The officers learned that Hernandez Velazquez was a patron at the casino and refused to leave when requested by casino security, police spokesman Dwayne English pointed out.
