Victim Hit In Head By Joliet Woman: Police
Jaelyn Dunklin, 23, was still on the scene when the officers arrived, Joliet police said.

JOLIET — A 23-year-old Joliet woman now finds herself in the Will County Jail following her Thanksgiving night arrest by the Joliet police in connection with allegations of violence.
Police said Jaelyn J. Dunklin was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility on charges of domestic battery and obstructing a police officer.
According to Joliet police detective Sgt. Tizoc Landeros, at about 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Norley Avenue in regard to a disturbance.

Landeros said the victim told the officers that he was struck several times in the head area by Dunklin. She was still on the scene when the officers arrived.
According to Landeros, when officers tried to gather information from Dunklin, she refused to cooperate or provide any of her information.

Dunklin was arrested for domestic battery and obstructing the officers and taken to the Joliet Police booking area. The victim sustained minor injuries to his head and face area. Dunklin was later processed and taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
