Violence At Applebee's Restaurant In Joliet Leads To Crest Hill Man's Arrest: Cops
Joliet police say Anthony Brown of Crest Hill entered the restaurant, struck the victim multiple times and threw a chair at him.

JOLIET, IL — A 49-year-old Crest Hill resident who entered Joliet's Applebee's restaurant last month during a fit of rage, attacked someone he knew and tossed a chair at the person, is now in the Will County Jail, the Joliet police said.
Officers say that Anthony Brown was arrested in recent days and taken to the Will County Jail by Joliet.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 4:36 p.m. April 9, officers responded to Applebee’s at 2795 Plainfield Road for a disturbance. A man at the restaurant reported being physically attacked by a person he knew.

"It is alleged that Brown entered the restaurant and struck the victim multiple times and threw a chair at him. Brown then fled the area in a vehicle. Officers were unable to locate Brown at that time," English said.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained an arrest warrant on May 14. Brown was placed into custody in the afternoon hours of May 16, following a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Larkin Avenue.
