Will County 'Recyclepalooza' Returns For Your Spring Cleaning

There is a limit of two TVs and 15 gallons of paint per vehicle, Will County government officials pointed out.

JOLIET – “Recyclepalooza” is kicking off Will County’s 2025 recycling event season, offering a free recycling and collection event in Joliet for electronics, household hazardous waste, metal, wood, clothing, books, toys, and more on Saturday, March 29.

The drive-up event, hosted by the Will County Resource Recovery and Energy Division, takes place from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. It is open to people living in communities that are fully or partially in Will County. There is a limit of two TVs and 15 gallons of paint per vehicle.

The event is available by appointment-only to help regulate traffic and reduce wait-times. More information on the exact location and how to pack vehicles for quick and easy unloading during the event will be emailed upon making an appointment.
