Wilmington Woman Threw Tupperware, Striking Man's Eye: Prosecutor
This marks the second time since December, that Tonya Renwick has been jailed on domestic violence charges against the same victim.

WILMINGTON — A 42-year-old citizen of Wilmington will remain in the Will County Jail indefinitely under the Illinois SAFE-T-Act following her latest arrest by the Will County Sheriff's Office on charges of domestic battery against the same man.
Court files from this week show that Will County Judge Derek Ewanic has ordered Tonya Renwick to remain in detention until further order from the court. Prosecutors charged Renwick this week with four new counts of domestic battery.
Renwick was just let out of the Will County Jail on Dec. 8, and she has a pending domestic battery charge from that case; she's accused of attacking the same victim, prosecutors informed the judge.

On Feb. 8, Will County Sheriff's deputies responded to Renwick's house in the 35000 block of South Peterson Lane in Wilmington for a complaint from the man who lives there with Renwick. He told them that Renwick was arguing with him about her phone.
The man told sheriff's deputies that Renwick threw a Tupperware lid at him, striking him near his eye, causing him to bleed and suffer cuts. A Wilmington ambulance responded to the house and treated the victim. As for Renwick, she "admitted that she threw the lid at (the man) so he would shut up," court records show.
