JOLIET — While most of Joliet's residents were probably still sound asleep in their beds, enjoying a good night's rest, 38-year-old Joliet citizen Jacqueline Urias was being arrested by the Joliet police force because she kept honking her horn, over and over and over, according to the arrest reports.

Joliet police noted that Urias, whose mugshot was not immediately available as of Monday morning, was arrested and later released on a Notice to Appear at the Will County Courthouse on charges of aggravated DUI and DUI.

Joliet Police Spokesman Dwayne English said the following event unfolded on Sunday:

At 6:22 a.m., the officers responded to the 700 block of Creed Avenue after receiving a report of a vehicle driving up and down the street honking its horn for an unknown reason.

Upon arrival, the officers heard a Buick Envision repeatedly honking its horn. Officers approached and identified the driver as Urias. Officers learned that Urias held a revoked driver’s license. Officers determined that Urias appeared to be possibly impaired by alcohol. Urias refused to perform field sobriety tests, and she was placed into custody without incident.
