2 Fake ComEd Workers Spotted in South Stone Backyard
The resident called ComEd to confirm their identity, but the company told her no workers were supposed to be at her house that day, police said.

Two men claiming to work for ComEd were seen in a backyard in the 600 block of South Stone Avenue in La Grange around 10:45 a.m. Friday, police said.
The resident called the power company, and a representative told told her that ComEd didn’t have anyone scheduled to be at her house that day. The men wore ComEd hard hats but did not have a ComEd truck.
The first subject was described as a short and stocky white man with brown hair who was wearing a brown coat, police said.

The second subject was described as a white man, about 6-feet tall with sandy-colored hair, wearing a brown coat.
