A Guide to La Grange Area and West Suburban Farmer's Markets
Who doesn't love fresh produce? Patch presents a guide to all the local farmer's markets in the Western Suburbs.

There's just something about shopping at a farmer's market that is so much nicer than a trip to your local grocery store. Maybe it's the smell: all those perfectly ripe vegetables sitting out in the air.
Locally grown produce is better for the environment and the local economy. It also provides shoppers with a direct connection to the farmers that grow our food. These guys and gals tend to be really helpful and knowledgeable too. They can give you recipe ideas, or point out a product you might not have tried before. Many even have samples out so your can give their products a try!
There are also a lot of them in our area. Want a full list? The blog Kidlist has a great guide to farmers market in the western suburbs from Chicago's Green City Market to Wheaton's French Market.
