Fireside Pizza Now Serving Beer and Wine
La Grange trustees approved a liquor license for Fireside Wood Fired Pizza and Cafe in La Grange. The fast-casual restaurant now has a beer and wine selection to go with your pizza.

On Monday, La Grange trustees approved a liquor license application for , 18 W. Harris Ave. in La Grange.
"We'll be serving beer and wine with the menu now," said owner Greg Gron.
That's good news for those who like to wash down a specialty sandwich or pizza with a brew or a glass of vino.

"We have five selections of wine by the glass as well as bottled beer," Gron said.
Customers can choose between a glass of chianti, pinot noir, pinot grigio, chardonnay or cabernet. Bottle beer options include Miller Lite, Sam Adams, Leinenkugel and Heineken to start.

"It seems like people in La Grange are interested in the micro brews," Gron said and added that Fireside will be adding some craft brews to the menu shortly.
Gron said business has been going well since .
"We've been doing very well," Gron said. "Even better than we expected by this time."
The fast-casual restaurant offers a variety of wood fired pizza and sandwiches as well as salads. Gron said the sandwiches have really taken off and La Grange customers' favorites include the chicken pesto, Stromboli and Italian grinder sandwiches.
Gron suggested that customers should keep and eye out for new specials, as the restaurant gets ready for summer. Special summer pizzas and salads will be added regularly in addition to the regular menu.
"People are looking to eat light, which we'll have options for," Gron said.
