Police Continue to Investigate Child Luring Incidents in La Grange Park, Increase Patrols Around Schools
At least three incidents, all similar in nature, have been reported this fall.

The La Grange Park Police Department is continuing to investigate a report of a suspicious man who tried to make contact with a 10-year-old female student during lunchtime recess on the playground at Forest Road Elementary School.
The police reported the female victim and her friends were on the playground around noon Tuesday, Oct. 4 when the unknown male drove up to them in a large, blue SUV and said, “Hey cutie, you need a ride?” to the girl.
The students then ran back toward the school. They did not at the time report the incident to school staff, but staff and police were informed when the targeted girl recounted the incident to her parents.
