A La Grange veterinarian is offering a new kind of treatment for animals, The Doings La Grange reports.

Dr. Tina Marcotte of Green Paws Veterinary Care is offering acupuncture for dogs as well as more traditional medicinal practices. She said she saw positive results from holistic practices like acupuncture in a clinic she worked at in the past. Marcotte said acupuncture works the best for dogs with chronic pain, but also helps animals with other ailments, the newspaper reports.
