LT Hosts Girls Soccer Clinic This Saturday, 3rd Annual Pink Out Next Weekend

LT will host girls soccer clinic this Saturday, hold third annual Pink Out on May 5.

The third annual Pink Out will be expanding to include girls soccer, softball, lacrosse and water polo. The Pink Out is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, at . The day begins with the water polo game at 8 a.m., softball at 11 a.m., lacrosse at noon, followed by soccer at 2 p.m. LTTV will cover the lacrosse and soccer games on Bennett Field, while WLTL will give play-by-play at the softball game. Proceeds from the day’s events will be donated to various charities.

In addition to the Pink Out games, the girls soccer team is conducting a Little Lions Soccer Clinic for girls ages 5-13, which will focus on soccer skills and scrimmage games. The clinic is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, from 3:30–5 p.m. on Bennett Field, or the South Campus Fieldhouse if the weather is bad.  If interested, please email varsity assistant coach Andy Newcomb at anewcomb@lths.net for the necessary forms. The Soccer Clinic registration is 3-3:30 p.m. in the lobby of the South Campus Fieldhouse

 All Little Lions will receive a Pink Out t-shirt, and participants should wear shin guards, bring a ball and a water bottle. In the event of bad weather, the clinic will be held in the South Campus Fieldhouse and indoor soccer shoes or tennis shoes must be worn. No cleats allowed indoors.

All proceeds from the girls’ soccer Pink Out events will be donated to the Karen Dove Cabral Foundation.
