LTHS Looks to Fill School Board Vacancy

Following the recent death of , District 204 will begin accepting applicants to fill the vacancy and finish Purcell's four-year term.

Those interested in applying must be at least 18 years old, and must have lived in the district for at least one year. The applicant must also be registered to vote.

The board will hold a special meeting on April 9 and 10, when candidates for the position will be interviewed during a closed session. The board is expected to choose a candidate prior to its April 11 board meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Those interested in the position must deliver their application by Thursday, March 22 by 4 p.m.
