LTHS Theatre Board to Present 'Fools'

Get ready to laugh as the Lyons Township High School Theatre Board puts on Neil Simon's comedy Fools this month. LT English teacher Ann Dudek directs and Junior Mary Kate Maney, of Western Springs, will be assistant director.

Fools is the story of Leon Tolchinsky, a teacher who begins a job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When Tolchinsky comes to town he realizes the town is not what he expected: it has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and it's up to him to break the curse. If Tochinsky stays for over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too will be taken by it.

The production opens on Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at the , located at 100 S. Brainard Ave. in La Grange, and will run through March 23.

Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens. LT students can attend for free with a student ID.
