Tuesday, April 16

Cars keyed

Two cars were keyed in the 900 block of South 8th Avenue, police said. A special watch was requested.

Graffiti in parking garage

Graffiti was founded on the east wall mural on the second floor of the downtown parking garage, 80 S. 6th Ave., police said.

Egging on Hayes

Kids egged a house in the 100 block of Hayes around 7:12 p.m., police said. The resident said she knew who they were and wanted it noted as a matter of record.

Stolen package

A package containing a green and silver Chloe purse was stolen after the mailman delivered it to a house in the 100 block of Bassford Avenue, police said. The woman ordered the purse for $328 through eBay.

Warrant arrest

Krystal Ramirez, 29, of the 4100 block of Maple Avenue in Lyons, was arrested around 1:05 p.m. in the 10200 block of South 76th Avenue in Bridgeview on a La Grange warrant for driving with a suspended license, police said.

Monday, April 15

Man screams dirty words

A man in jeans and a white shirt was screaming obscenities around 4:26 p.m. at the intersection of La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue, police said. Officers spoke with him and sent him on his way.

BB damage

BB holes were found around 5:19 p.m. in the windows of a home in the 00 block of South Waiola, police said.  

Sunday, April 14

Balls break branches

Teenagers broke some branches by throwing balls at trees around 3:17 p.m. in the 800 block of South 9th Avenue, police said. Officers sent the kids on their way.

Handmade drug pipe 

A man found a handmade pipe used for smoking drugs around 6:12 p.m. in his backyard in the 00 block of North Peck, police said. Officers disposed of the pipe.

No driver’s license

A 17-year-old Chicago boy was cited around 2:11 a.m. for driving without a license near the intersection of Ogden and Brainard, police said.
