McCook Public Library Celebrates Intergovernmental Agreement

As part of a new intergovernmental agreement residents of Indian Head Park and Countryside can now obtain a discounted library card from the McCook Public Library.

An open house was held on May 7 to celebrate the agreement and introduce neighboring communities to the tiny hidden gem that is the McCook Library.

Current patrons and those stopping in to sign up for a new library card were there to partake in the open house events. Music was provided by Mo'Beat Blues, with refreshments and give-a-ways.

The McCook Public Library is located at 8419 W. 50th Street, McCook, Illinois.
