Police said they located Allen on a CTA bus, and he denied selling cigarettes. Officers reminded him that he has been arrested on similar charges for selling cigarettes near other CTA stops.

Allen was carrying $8.44 in change and $12 in singles, which is "consistent with a subject that would be selling single cigarettes," police said. He was given a June 5 court hearing.
