Riverside Arts Weekend Returns to Guthrie Park

Riverside, IL - Juried art, musical performances and hands-on art for children are coming to Riverside on May 21 and 22 for the 2016 Riverside Arts Weekend.

The free event will highlight the popularity of tandem bicycles in the village, and the "village’s commitment to living in tandem with nature," according to Riverside.

The art bicycles will be sold via silent auction. Log onto 32auctions.com/RAWbikes to see the brand new and fully functional bikes and to bid. The auction will close at 3 p.m. May 22. Proceeds will support future RAW spectacles.

Parking is available in Commuter Lot 1 next to the Riverside Train Station, in the parking lot of the Riverside Swim Club and in the parking lot behind Hauser/Central School. Signs will be posted.

Bloomingbank Road will be closed to traffic between Riverside Road and the Commuter Parking Lot from May 20 at noon until May 22 at about 7 p.m., according to the village. Burling Road will be open for two way traffic.
