  • Just like lights deter burglars, they also dissuade people aiming to steal signs. Keep the area illuminated.
  • Keep an eye out for people trespassing on your or your neighbors’ yards.
  • Call the police if you see something suspicious. You don’t even need to give your name.
  • Video evidence can help in prosecuting thieves or vandals, so consider a camera if it’s an ongoing issue.
  • Share with police any information you have about people who may be stealing or damaging signs.
  • Doing the right thing not incentive enough? La Grange Park Police may pay a cash reward if you offer credible information that leads to an arrest or conviction in one of these cases.
