Jewelry, Safe Stolen From Home: Police
Witnesses saw 2 suspects pull up to the house in a gray SUV while the residents were at work.

Jewelry and a small safe were taken Nov. 17 from a house in the 1100 block of West Inverleith Road, according to Lake Forest police reports.
The house’s front door was forced open, and the master bedroom ransacked, the report stated.

Witnesses told police they saw two suspects enter the driveway in a small, light gray, SUV with a square back end shortly after the residents left for work between 8:45 and 9:15 a.m. Nov. 17, the report stated. A witness reported seeing the passenger of the SUV walk around the home before returning to the front door, the report added.
