Abandoned Vehicle On I-355 Connected To Missing Person Investigation

LEMONT, IL — The search continues for a missing man after his abandoned vehicle was found on I-355 near Lemont early Saturday, Illinois State Police told Patch.

The abandoned vehicle was found at 1:06 a.m. on I-355 near milepost 10, and was found to be connected to a missing person investigation involving Christopher Paller, who was reported missing with the Tinley Park Police Department, state police said.

Paller is described as white, 46 years old, 6'2", and 240 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.

State police and the Chicago Fire Department conducted a search of the area and waterway near the abandoned vehicle, but found nothing, police said.

The missing person investigation is ongoing.
