Beloved Restaurant Closes Lemont Location

LEMONT, IL — The Mickey's Gyros location inside of the Gas N Wash in Lemont has closed, the business shared on its Facebook page.

"Unfortunately, due to the rising cost in the restaurant industry we will not be able to continue in our Lemont location," the business said. "We had a phenomenal customer base, but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough to stay a float."

Gas N Wash opened last year at 10980 Archer Ave. in Lemont.

Mickey's Gyros was first established in 1972, and operates locations across the Chicago area. The restaurant serves gyros, burgers, Italian beef, hot dogs and subs.

Closest to Lemont, the restaurant offers a location in Crest Hill at 1701 N. Larkin Ave.
