Boys Soccer: Lemont Falls to Peoria Notre Dame in Supersectional
Indians (20-4-3) have lost to the Irish (20-5-0) three years in a row in Class 2A supersectional play.
The boys soccer team came to a close Tuesday night after losing to Peoria Notre Dame for the third straight year in the IHSA Class 2A supersectional.
The Irish (20-5-0) edged the Indians (20-4-3) 1-0 to advance to Friday's seminfinal at Lincoln-Way North. Defender Jake Swenk was credited the goal, which was scored with 17:55 to play.
Lemont Oct. 28 with a 1-0 win over Bremen. The Indians beat Joliet Catholic 6-0 in the Class 2A regional championship Oct. 21.
