District 210 Approves Calendar for 2012-2013 School Year

The  Board of Education approved their 2012-2013 calendar at their March 12 meeting.

The first day of school will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, for freshmen, while the first full day for all students will be Wednesday, Aug. 15. The tentative last day of school is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2013.

Lemont High School students will have two days off for the Thanksgiving holiday: Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23.

First semester final exams are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21, through Friday, Dec. 23. Winter break begins at the end of the day Friday, Dec. 21. Students return to school Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.

Spring break is scheduled for Friday, March 22 through Sunday, March 31.

Second semester final exams will be held Monday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 22. Graduation will be held Friday, May 24.
