Great American Bagel Closes Lemont Location

, a deli and bakery located in Lemont Plaza near , has closed its doors, according to a company employee.

The employee confirmed Monday morning that the company closed its Lemont location, 1130 State St. There are no plans to re-open, she said.

"We apologize to any customers who were inconvenienced by this, but we encourage them to visit our nearby locations," the employee said.

The company declined to provide any further details on the closing.

Based in Westmont, IL, the Great American Bagel has more than 50 locations across 12 states. There are 20 stores in Illinois, including four in O'Hare Airport.
