Lemont Police: Car Crashes Into Law Office Building

LEMONT, IL—A law office in Lemont received extensive damage to its building after a car crashed into it Friday morning, according to the Lemont Police Department.

Police said the accident happened just before 9 a.m. at Antonopoulos & Virtel PC, a law office located at 15419 E. 127th St. in Lemont.

Lemont Police Commander Thad Mezyk told Patch that the driver of the car accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake pedal.

Fortunately, police said there were no injuries. The driver was checked out by EMS as a safety precaution and released at the scene.
