Lemont's Freedom Days 2025 Kicks Off Thursday

The festivities will culminate with a fireworks show on July 3 at Centennial Park.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Park District's annual Freedom Days is set to return on June 26, featuring a Veterans Tribute, open house at the CORE, kite fly and more.

The festivities kick off on June 26, with the Veterans Tribute, featuring brats and beer at the Lemont VFW at 6 p.m.

Then, on June 27, a free open house will be held at the CORE. The free to be fit Friday will be held all day.

June 30 will feature the free kite fly at Centennial Park, from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your own kite and fly them in the sky.

Finally, the free Star Spangled Splash pool party will be held at Centennial Pool from noon to 3 p.m. The July 3rd celebration will kick off at 3 p.m. at Centennial Park, featuring live entertainment, a DJ, food vendors, a Kid's Zone, and of course, fireworks will end the night at 9:30 p.m.
