LHS Girls Soccer To Play In Sectional Semi-Final Tuesday

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School girls soccer has captured its 11th regional title since 2013 after its 1-0 victory over Wheaton Academy on Friday.

The team will now play Nazareth Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Glenbard South sectional semi-final. According to IHSA, Lemont is no. 2 seed and Nazareth is no. 3.

The most recent regional championship title is the 20th in the program history, LHS said.

"Lemont also secured its 20th straight conference title in 2025, finishing with an 11-0 mark in South Suburban Conference play," the school said.

The winner of the sectional semi-final on Tuesday will advance to the sectional championship on Saturday and play the winner of St. Francis and Hinsdale South, according to IHSA.
