LTHS Girls Volleyball Takes Third At IHSA Class 4A State Finals
Lockport faced Huntley in the third-place match, and won 25-12, 25-21.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School girls volleyball team captured third place in the IHSA Class 4A state finals tournament, which was contested on Nov. 15-16 in Normal.
The Porters were defeated in the first round of the tournament, losing 25-14, 25-22 to Marist. Marist went on to win the state championship, according to IHSA.
Lockport then faced Huntley in the third-place match, and won 25-12, 25-21.

The Porters program has earned regional championships in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024, according to IHSA records.
