Man Charged After Residential Burglaries In Lemont: Police

A juvenile offender was also identified, and criminal charges are still pending, police said.

LEMONT, IL — A 19-year-old man has been charged with two counts of residential burglary after several incidents were reported on Saturday evening in Lemont, according to a news release from Lemont Police.

Police said they received reports of multiple residential burglaries and one attempted burglary on Nov. 23. The incidents were reported in various locations, and investigators began immediately working to identify the suspects.

Shortly after, the Oak Brook Police Department took two individuals into custody on separate charges stemming from burglaries in Burr Ridge, Lemont Police said. As part of the Burr Ridge investigation, additional information was uncovered linking the offenders to the residential burglaries in Lemont.

Lemont Police detectives were notified, and one man, Vincent Miller, 19 of Garden City, Michigan, was charged with two counts of residential burglaries in connection with crimes in Lemont, police said.

A juvenile offender was also identified, and criminal charges are still pending, police said.

The Lemont Police Department continues to work closely with the Burr Ridge Police Department as the investigation continues, and additional charges are expected.
