Nick's Tavern Is In Championship Round Of WGN's Best Burger Tournament
Voting for the championship round will end at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

LEMONT, IL — Long-time Lemont staple Nick's Tavern has made it into the championship round of WGN Radio's Chicago Area's Best Burgers Tournament.
Established in 1945 and fresh off its 80th anniversary celebration, Nick's is well-known for its famous 1-pound Nickburger. The burger comes with everything you could want, including ketchup, mustard, pickle, relish, your choice of raw or grill onions, and cheese.
Voting for the championship round will end at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The results will be announced on WGN Radio shortly after.

Nick's Tavern is up against Smash'd, which is a Crystal Lake-based food truck, popular for its smash burgers. Nick's defeated Happy Bites, Burger Bar Chicago, Flipside Brewing, Windy City Burger Social Club, and Au Cheval in the earlier rounds of the tournament.
