The Village Board of Trustees will hold a business meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at , 418 Main St. The board an electricity referendum, improvements to McCarthy Road, a water agency agreement and an amendment to the village budget.

The , 50 E. Wend St., is hosting its monthly Teen Movie Night at 7 p.m. Monday. This month, the featured movie is Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. CenterPoint at Governors State University is hosting a two-hour workshop Thursday that will focus on personal, financial and legal aspects of starting a business.
