The weekly Lemont Farmers Market continues today in the Talcott Square parking lot. The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. CLICK HERE for more information, including a complete list of vendors.

The Board of Education will hold its monthly business meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Multi-Purpose Room, 15425 E. 127th St.

5. Active Transportation Plan

Walkers and bikers are invited to weigh in on the Active Transportation Plan for Lemont which will establish the community's goals for walking, bicycling, and other modes of active transportation. The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19, at the , 16300 Alba St. For those who cannot attend, a survey is available at www.lemont.il.us.
