2. Village Board Meeting

The Lemont Village Board of Trustees will hold a business meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in , 418 Main St. For more information, visit www.lemont.il.us.

3. Mitten Drive

Lemont Girl Scout Troop 70259 is holding a mitten drive to benefit Lemont families in need and the "My Joyful Heart" organization in Mokena. The troop is collecting new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves. Donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations:

  • , 50 E. Wend St.
  • , 1100 State St.
  • , 16050 W. 127th St.

4. Fright Night at the Old Stone Church

The is hosting its annual at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Volunteers will share tales of the supernatural and showcase a haunted coffin from the 1860s. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children. For more information, visit www.­lemonthi­storical.­org.

Village officials are updating Lemont’s comprehensive plan, and to kick off the process they are inviting community members to offer some input. A survey is now available at www.lemont.il.us/lemont2030.
