PHOTOS: Lemont Township Hosts Seniors for Annual Holiday Lunch

seniors got into the Christmas spirit a few days early with a holiday party and luncheon Tuesday.

The event, held at the , was hosted by the Community Nutrition Network and Senior Services Division. About 80 seniors were treated to a hot meal of sausage, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, vegetables and salad.

Lemont Township sponsored the entertainment for the event, which was provided by two-time Grammy nominated harp player Victor Zacbe Pichardo.

Volunteers from Suburu were also on hand to pass out meals to the seniors. The company also donated $1,000, which was used to purchase gift cards for the attendees.
