PHOTOS: Old Quarry Takes on 'Village People' for 2nd Annual Charity Basketball Game
Proceeds from Saturday's game will support the Warrior Booster Club, which provides extracurricular activities for students in Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A.

For the game, members of the varsity Warrior girls and boys basketball teams joined forces to take on the "Village People," a team coached by Lemont Police Chief Kevin Shaughnessy and Fire Chief Carl Churulo.
The team included former Mayor John Piazza, Trustee Cliff Miklos, Asst. Village Administrator George Schafer and Deputy Fire Chief Jay Nickleski. Also playing were Public Works employee Brian Wojciechowski, Old Quarry teachers Michelle Nevin and Dennis Kennedy, Warrior Booster Club President Amy Kramer and event co-chair John Fay; and the Lemont Fire Protection District's Rami Elshareif, Todd Fischer, Ron Lambert and Dave Gubbins.

Old Quarry led the Village People by double digits throughout the game. They pulled out a 63-60 victory, despite being out-numbered 10 to 5 in the last two minutes of the game.
The basketball game is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Warrior Booster Club, which is responsible for organizing and funding extracurricular activities in .
