Where To See Santa In Lemont This Christmas Season

The holiday season is upon us; find out where to see Santa in Lemont.

LEMONT, IL — Now that Thanksgiving is almost upon us, many families have turned thoughts to the Christmas season and annual traditions. Visits and pictures with Santa are a treasured memory for many Lemont families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Lemont, families have several chances:

  • Hometown Holiday, 2:30 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 2. Santa will pay a visit to downtown Lemont, and help light the Christmas tree.
  • Ugly Sweater Pet Pawrade and Photos with Santa; 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 10. The whole family, including four-legged friends, can parade downtown Lemont and take a picture with Santa.
  • Barrel and Vine Brunch with Santa. 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. Santa will pay a visit to Barrel and Vine in downtown Lemont. Reservations are highly recommended. Admission is $34.95 per person for those 12 and older; $18.95 for ages 5 to 12; and free admission for kids 4 and under.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa will be at the downtown Chicago Macy's, on the 5th floor at 111 N. State Street starting in November and continuing through the holidays. Reservations are required, and more details are available here.

JC Penney stores, including stores in Orland Park, Lombard, Mokena and Joliet are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
