Traveling Basketball Team Tryouts for Boys, Girls Offered

The Bulls/ Sox Academy is hosting free basketball travel team tryouts for boys and girls this month at its main location, 6200 River Bend Dr., Lisle.

The official youth sport development program of the Chicago Bulls, the Bulls/Sox Academy offers competitive basketball teams for students in fourth grade through senior year of high school. Players selected for these teams will compete in league and tournament play against top youth basketball teams in Illinois including an opportunity to play on the United Center floor.

Players will be selected for Level 1 or Level 2 teams based on skill level. All teams run out of the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle. Tryouts are free and no pre-registration required. Grade levels, dates and times are as scheduled:

Boys 4^th -5^th : 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 8          

Boys 6^th : 7:30-9 p.m. Aug. 8                                  

Boys 7^th : 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 9         

Boys 8^th :  7:30- 9 p.m. Aug. 9         

Girls 5^th -6^th :  6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 10       

Girls 7^th -8^th :  7:30- 9 p.m. Aug. 10                                 

High school girls: 6-8 p.m. Aug. 15               

High school boys: 6-8 p.m. Aug. 16

If you are interested in playing with the Bulls/Sox Academy and are unable to attend the tryout, contact Casey Babarskis to arrange an alternate date. It is not mandatory to attend all tryout dates; however, the more you attend the better our staff can evaluate you as a player.
