Back To School: Lisle CUSD 202 Academic Calendar

LISLE, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left until students head back to school. Back-to-school planning has already begun at Lisle Community Unit School District 202, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.

The first day of school is set for Aug. 14 for all District 202 students.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the upcoming school year:

Aug. 14: First day of school

Sept. 2: Labor Day; no school

Sept. 13: Early dismissal

Oct. 4: Early dismissal

Oct. 10: Early dismissal

Oct. 14: Indigenous People's Day; no school

Nov. 4: Building Curriculum Meetings; no school

Nov. 5: Election Day; no school

Nov. 25: Early dismissal

Nov. 26: No school

Nov. 27-Nov. 29: Thanksgiving recess

Dec. 23 - Jan. 3: Winter Break

Jan. 6: Building Curriculum Meetings; no school

Jan. 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day; no school

Feb. 14: Early dismissal

Feb. 17: Presidents' Day; no school

Feb. 28: County Institute Day; no school for students

March 31-April 4: Spring Break

April 18: No school; spring holiday

April 25: Early dismissal

May 27 - June 2: Emergency Days
