Back To School: Lisle CUSD 202 Academic Calendar For 2025-26

LISLE, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left until students head back to school. Back-to-school planning has already begun at Lisle Community Unit School District 202, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2025-2026 school year.

The first day of school is set for Aug. 14 for all District 202 students.

Here's a look at some dates to know for the upcoming school year:

Aug. 14: First day of school

Sept. 1: Labor Day; no school

Sept. 12: Early dismissal

Oct. 9: Early dismissal for grades 6 through 12

Oct. 10: No school for grades 6 through 12

Oct. 13: Indigenous People's Day; no school

Nov. 4: Building Curriculum Meetings; no school

Nov. 24: Early dismissal for grades Pre-K through fifth

Nov. 25: No school for grades Pre-K through fifth

Nov. 26-Nov. 28: Thanksgiving break

Dec. 22 - Jan. 2: Winter Break

Jan. 5: Building Curriculum Meetings; no school

Jan. 19: Martin Luther King Jr. Day; no school

Feb. 13: Early dismissal

Feb. 16: Presidents' Day; no school

Feb. 27: County Institute Day; no school for students

March 30-April 3: Spring Break

April 24: Early dismissal

May 21: Last day of school

May 22 - May 29: Emergency Days
