Benedictine Cancels Evening Classes Amid Inclement Weather
Evening classes were canceled Tuesday at Benedictine University amid heavy snowfall.
LISLE, IL — Classes were canceled at Benedictine University Tuesday evening amid inclement weather.
The university took to its website Tuesday to announce that classes would cease after 4:30 p.m. due to "continued snowfall." Students were advised to refer to their D2L for further information.
As of Tuesday afternoon, a winter weather advisory was still in effect for DuPage County. The winter storm brought 3.5 inches to nearby Darien according to data from Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Late Tuesday's forecast called for additional snowfall with accumulation that could reach four inches in some areas.
