Cardboard Boat Regatta Coming To Sea Lion Aquatic Park
Thursday is the last chance to register to compete in the park's Cardboard Boat Regatta.
LISLE, IL — Sea Lion Aquatic Park is hosting its Cardboard Boat Regatta on July 22, inviting kids ages five through 18 to compete with their own cardboard boats.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Pride of the Regatta
- Best Dressed (for creative team costumes)
- First place race winners
- Titanic Award for "most valiant effort to keep boat afloat while sinking"
- Battleship winner
The cost to enter, per boat, is $20 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. The deadline is July 20. Click the link to register for the Cardboard Boat Regatta.
