• Sober Driving Encouraged Amid Holiday Crackdown In Lisle (patch.com) — Lisle police are stepping up DUI enforcement through early January, urging residents to plan sober rides and always wear seat belts during holiday celebrations. As part of statewide safety campaigns, officers will be out in full force targeting impaired drivers on Lisle roads. Locals are encouraged to designate sober drivers, use rideshares, or take public transit to stay safe.
   

• Arbor Station Townhome Development Gets Green Light In Lisle (patch.com) — Lisle officials have approved the 66-unit Arbor Station townhome development just south of Lisle Cemetery in the downtown area, allowing taller buildings than normally permitted. The three-story units, with optional attic terraces, will be built by Pulte Homes and include rear-loading two-car garages.
