Check out These Huskies in Lisle This Weekend
Visitors can see demonstrations of husky sled-pulling and skijoring
The Morton Arboretum will be featuring a program called Husky Heroes where visitors can meet huskies and see them in action on Saturday and Sunday.
According to the Morton Arboretum website, "Guests can watch demonstrations of husky sled-pulling and skijoring, a winter sport where the dogs pull a person on skis. Children and adults can visit the dogs and sled teams, inspect equipment, and have their pictures taken with the rigs. In addition, information will be available during the event about husky adoption."
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with demonstrations at approximately 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
