Depot Days To Celebrate 39 Years In Lisle

A blacksmith shop, pony rides, historic games and more will take visitors back to the 19th century and beyond in September.

LISLE, IL — Blacksmiths will forge objects out of metal, a Civil War hospital will come to life and other historic activities will be up for exploration when Depot Days returns to the Museums at Lisle Station Park on Sept. 16 and 17.

This marks the 39th year for the family-friendly event, which lets visitors step back in time with vintage games and demonstrations amid the museum's immersive setting.

There is no charge to attend Depot Days. Visitors can buy food and beverages, and can also purchase souvenirs, including commemorative ornaments and items made by the blacksmiths.
