How To Recycle Holiday Lights In Lisle

Broken strands of holiday lights can be recycled at Lisle Village Hall.

LISLE, IL — Decorating for the holidays almost always results in discovering that one...or more...strands of lights have stopped working. Lisle residents can unload their old holiday lights in the lobby of Lisle Village Hall.

Below is a list of the lights and other items you can drop off to be recycled:

  • C7 lights
  • C9 lights
  • Extension cords
  • LED lights
  • Rope lights

Lights can be dropped off anytime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The village will accept holiday lights for recycling through Jan. 31.
